About UXHaven
A UX/UI lab that works on game interfaces, and nothing else.
We're a small, quiet interface lab in Lublin, Poland, and we do one thing on purpose: make the screens in a game easier to read. Not the art, not the code, not the level design — the HUD you check mid-fight, the menu you dig through for a keybinding, the inventory that swallows the item you needed. That narrow focus is deliberate. Interfaces are their own craft, and games ask more of them than almost any other software.
Why we exist
Most studios reach a point where the interface is quietly costing them players, but hiring a full-time interface designer for one project doesn't add up. The UI ends up shared between a programmer and whoever has a spare afternoon. It ships, it works, and it slowly frustrates people in ways nobody can quite name. We're the team you bring in for exactly that stretch — a fresh, trained pair of eyes with a method behind them.
How we think
We don't argue about taste. Every recommendation we make is tied to something we watched a real player struggle with, or to a heuristic that's held up across hundreds of interfaces. If we can't explain why a change helps the person holding the controller, we don't propose it. That keeps the conversation about players instead of preferences, which is usually where UI decisions go to die.
What we're not
We're not a full-service studio, a marketing agency, or a general web shop. We won't rebrand your game or write its story. And nothing we do involves wagering, prizes of money, or games of chance — "game" here means the interactive, video kind. Our work is a professional design service, plain and simple.
Where to find us
We work with studios worldwide but keep our desks in Lublin. If your interface is holding a good game back, that's the exact problem we like most. Get in touch and tell us where it hurts.
