Cookie Policy

Last updated 21 July 2026.

We run this site with a light touch. It doesn't chase you around the web or build a profile of your habits. This page explains the few cookies and similar bits of storage the site may use, and how to switch them off if you'd rather.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website can store in your browser. Related technologies — like the browser's local storage — do a similar job. Both let a site remember small things between page loads, such as a setting you chose or a message you've already dismissed.

What we use

The essential ones keep the site working: they let the booking form submit safely and remember, for example, that you've closed a notice so it doesn't reappear on every page. These can't sensibly be turned off without breaking the site, and they don't identify you personally.

We keep analytics minimal. If we measure anything, it's aggregate traffic — which pages people read, roughly where visitors come from — so we can improve the site. We don't use it to track individuals across other websites, and we don't sell it. We don't run advertising trackers or social-media pixels.

Controlling cookies

You're always in charge. Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies from its settings or privacy menu, and you can set it to warn you before accepting new ones. Clearing them removes small preferences the site remembered, which simply means it treats you as a first-time visitor again. The site's core pages, including this one and the booking form, keep working with cookies switched off.

Questions

If you'd like to know exactly what your visit stored, or you want it cleared from our side, email [email protected] and we'll help. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
