Refund Policy

Last updated 21 July 2026.

We want you happy with the work, not stuck paying for something that went wrong. This page sets out how deposits, cancellations and refunds work on a Game UI Audit and on a redesign sprint. Because these are made-to-order professional services, the rules differ a little from buying a product off a shelf.

Before work starts

Booking an audit usually involves a deposit that reserves your slot and covers our scheduling. If you cancel before we've begun the review — before we start playing your build and marking up screens — we refund the deposit in full, minus any payment-processing fee we can't recover. Just email us as early as you can so we can offer the slot to another studio.

Once the audit is under way

An audit is our time and expertise applied to your specific game, so once we've started the review we can't offer a full refund — the work is being done and can't be un-done. If you need to pause or stop partway through for reasons on your side, we'll bill fairly for the portion completed and refund the rest. If you're unhappy with the delivered report, tell us why; where the concern is reasonable we'll rework the relevant sections at no charge before any refund conversation.

Redesign sprints

Sprints are scoped and scheduled in advance, and one revision round is included. If you cancel a booked sprint before it starts, we refund anything paid beyond the deposit. Once a sprint is running, cancellation is handled the same way as an audit: you pay for work completed, we refund the balance.

If we cancel

If we ever can't deliver — a scheduling problem on our side, say — you get a full refund of anything paid for the undelivered work, no quibble.

How to request one

Email [email protected] with your project name and what you'd like refunded. We reply within a couple of working days and process approved refunds to your original payment method within fourteen days.
